Our Services

Application Engineering

Reliable transformer performance begins with a clear understanding of the electrical system. Our application engineering team reviews primary and secondary voltage, rated capacity, load profile, duty cycle, harmonics, installation conditions and project standards before a configuration is confirmed.

Engineering decisions made before production protect performance for years.

We translate operating requirements into a practical transformer specification. The review covers insulation level, impedance, losses, temperature rise, cooling, connections, protection accessories and mechanical arrangement. Customers receive the drawings and technical data needed for approval, installation planning and future maintenance.

Our Engineering Process

A structured workflow turns project inputs into a manufacturable and verifiable transformer design.

  • Review system data, load characteristics and site conditions
  • Calculate ratings, insulation, impedance, losses and thermal performance
  • Confirm drawings, accessories, standards and technical documentation
What information is needed to select a transformer?

Please provide the primary and secondary voltage, capacity, frequency, phases, load type, duty cycle, installation environment, applicable standard and any limits on losses, noise or dimensions.

Can you engineer transformers for harmonic or fluctuating loads?

Yes. Furnace, rectifier, drive, renewable-energy and other nonlinear loads are reviewed for harmonics, duty cycle, thermal stress and impedance requirements before the design is finalized.

Which standards can be considered during design?

The technical specification can be developed around applicable IEC, IEEE, GB or customer standards, subject to the destination market and project requirements.

Will drawings be supplied before manufacturing?

Yes. General arrangement drawings, nameplate data, terminal details and agreed technical schedules can be submitted for confirmation before production release.

Engineering Deliverables
1

Requirements Review

System voltage, load profile, site conditions and project constraints are consolidated into a clear design basis.
2

Rating & Insulation Design

Capacity, voltage ratio, insulation level, vector group and frequency are matched to the electrical network.
3

Loss & Thermal Review

Loss targets, temperature rise, cooling method and expected duty cycle are evaluated together.
4

Mechanical Configuration

Tank, enclosure, terminals, cable entry, accessories and site interfaces are arranged for practical installation.
5

Drawings & Data

Approval drawings, technical schedules and agreed documentation support coordination with the project team.
6

Technical Confirmation

Key parameters and customer comments are closed before the design is released to manufacturing.
